In addition to private business engagements, many of our consultants deliver presentations and lectures at major industry conferences, both nationally and abroad. All seminars are available for on-site delivery.  All  seminars are offered through the Data Transition Group. Clients may customize seminar topics, as appropriate, to complement implementation-specific priorities.

Logical Data Modeling  (also offered as a 'webinar' with hands-on workshops)
	This seminar / webinar  is a very comprehensive course of study and is designed to be a complete "how to" for logical data modeling. The seminar has proven to be effective for students with no logical data modeling experience, as well as those with significant, but not formal background (e.g., DBA's). This class stands out by presenting an ideal balance of theory, practical advice, and hands-on exercises and workshops. Metadata Solutions
	Today's metadata is not organized, standardized, or accessible. What we need is a good metadata solution that accesses or contains quality metadata. This seminar takes students through the basics of metadata and into the requirements for building a practical, functional metadata solution. Several types of metadata solutions are covered, including the standalone metadata repository, the integrated repository architecture, the information directory, the custom-developed metadata store, distributed metadata repositories, and the enterprise portal.   Read More...
